如果存在自旋极化,那么在主面板选择Unrestricted,在Model > Spin and Occupation中,设置Spin Polarization即可。Spin Polarization指未配对电子的个数,例如三重态的数值为2。N重态的Spin Polarization为N-1。
如果指定Unrestricted,但不设置Spin Polarization,那么软件会自动收敛到正确的自旋多重度上面去,对于铁磁材料,一般会自动收敛到铁磁态上去。
